Drug and alcohol training sessions are conducted regularly by Dr David Allen MBBS(Hons), DPH, FAFOEM, Occupational Physician and Managing Director and Katrina McIlwraith B.App.Sc(OT), M.OH&S Mgt (UTS)OHS Risk & Policy Consultant and Workplace Trainer at our Merrylands training centre or at your workplace anywhere in Australia.
Our training sessions are available for management and staff alike. We address key issues such as policy development, how to deal with an intoxicated worker and drugs and alcohol in the workplace. These workshops have been specifically developed by us to provide sound, practical and up-to-date advice and guidance on what we know is a very complex workplace issue.
We offer training in:
"Drug and Alcohol Workplace Policy development" - This is the most important process. Must be done before you even consider doing testing.
“Great session – Discussed all areas/aspects I required to better understand D&A policy and procedure” (22/10/08)
"Dealing with intoxicated workers" - practical advice on how to identify and approach workers who may be intoxicated.
“Case studies and interactive involvement was good! And very helpful” (19/03/08). “Great presenters - good to hear from a doctor” (09/11/07)
"Drugs and Alcohol in the Workplace" - training for the workforce to help introduce the elements of the policy and explain testing and how it is done.
