What is Rapid Antigen Testing?

Rapid Antigen testing is a screening tool to help detect COVID-19 in people without any symptoms. The test is quick and easy to use onsite at your workplace, involving a nasal swab and point of care testing device. Results are available while you wait, within 10-15 minutes.

This contrasts with diagnostic (PCR) testing that involves a deep nasal and throat sample that is tested in a laboratory with results available 24-48 hours later.

By providing rapid results, Antigen Testing allows you to identify and isolate COVID affected workers much more quickly than PCR testing. Although PCR testing remains the gold standard in COVID testing, Rapid Antigen Testing gives you the speed you need to regain control and keep in front of the virus.
